Darn weather!

Well, no snow cone today. The weather does not permit it. I seriously doubt the snow cone stands are even open. I didn't know a storm was a-brewin', otherwise I would have gotten one early in the afternoon. I guess you snooze, you lose. I'll more than make up for it! Promise!

This is my favorite lil' guy, my nephew, Lucas. I love him more than snow cones. Oh, and this was before the storm. Where the heck did it come from? But I gotta admit, I'm kinda enjoying it.

Peace, love, and happiness always and forever!

Friday flava

Blue Coconut. Blue Coconut. Blue Coconut. Blue Coconut. Blue Coconut GOODNESS!!!!
The inevitable happened...dribbled down my shirt. A yellow shirt to match my fingernails and car. haha. It was bound to happen sometime. Not the best idea to "chill out" while driving. It's not an easy thing. I've learned my lesson....maybe....probably not.
Chill out, y'all. Peace!

Magic machine

I'm here trying Meg-a-cone's Magic Snow Cone machine. Very impressed! Cute little polka dotted cone cups, spoon straws, cone stands, and yummy syrup including sugar-free. (Make mine with extra sugar please!) Little machine is easy to use and works great. Great crushed ice consistency! I think I'm gonna have to buy one of these machines. I hear she got it at Target. Oh, yeah!
Meg had blue raspberry - looks happy to me, and that's what this
is all about, right?!?!
I chose to try the Root beer.
Can't really go wrong with that!
A+ on flavors and the machine.
Ok, off for Scene burgers. Another very good thing.
Peace, love, and chillin!

Flava of the day

The remnants of my snow cone today. I know it's killing you. So I'll just go ahead and tell you...Blue Coconut................on half. GOTCHA. the other half...Tiger's Blood.
It was awesomely amazing.

Aw, look. Sometimes even cat's like snow cones! Who woulda thought?!?! Well, this is no ordinary cat, but that was also no ordinary snow cone. It was a meltdown. Cherry with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Interesting and good. I was told the cherry was better than the blueberry. And the ice cream made it extra delicious!

World's biggest snow cone...

A dream come true. The world's biggest snow cone.
Ok, so it's paint, but whatever.
Danish artist, Marco Evaristti.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - An artist with 780 gallons of red paint, three fire hoses and a 20-member crew at his disposal went to Greenland in search of a blank canvas large enough to accommodate his creative impulse.
The result is a (TIGER'S) blood-red iceberg now sitting off the country’s western coast.
“We all have a need to decorate Mother Nature because it belongs to all us,” Danish artist Marco Evaristti said Thursday. “This is my iceberg; it belongs to me.”

Looks cool at least.

QUESTION: What exactly is Tiger's Blood? I've done tons of research on this...Wikipedia (haha) says it's a combo of cherry and coconut OR a combo of strawberry and coconut. I am going to go with CHERRY and COCONUT!
I'll stay on this one.

Peace, love, and blue tongues

Tuesday flava

Tuesday trip to JK's Snow Cone Shop. I went with Tiger's Blood. Just not ready to stray yet. Delicious. Mary enjoyed Blueberry. She gave it a 10. over and beyond on the syrup. (not too much though. very important). a 10 on shape. GOOD GOOD GOOD.

Danger: Brain freeze. Not as common as with slurpees though. I don't tend to use a straw with a snow cone. just spoon it. but remember to watch the eyes. My good friend Meg-a-cone said a remedy for brain freeze is to press your tongue up against the roof of your mouth. K. Brown added to stick your thumb to the roof of your mouth.

Ok, gotta go play some guitar hero. i'm a beginner. it's pretty fun!

Peace, love, and snowcones!

the importance of this blog

FIRST OFF, I HAVE NOT HAD MY SNOW CONE YET TODAY. BUT DON'T YOU WORRY. I WILL VERY, VERY SOON.

BUT THIS YOUNG LADY WAS INSPIRED. I KNOW THAT I'M DOING SOMETHING GOOD HERE. I'M CHANGING PEOPLE'S LIVES WITH THIS BLOG. I KNEW THERE WAS A REASON FOR THIS. I JUST KNEW IT. NOW IT LOOKS AS IF THIS LOVELY YOUNG LADY HAS SOMETHING AGAINST TIGER'S BLOOD. I DON'T BELIEVE SHE'S TRIED IT YET. BUT I'M JUST GLAD THAT I HAVE BROUGHT SUCH HAPPINESS TO HER LIFE WHEN I INSPIRED HER TO PURCHASE HER VERY OWN SNOW CONE MACHINE. IT'S AMAZING. NOW THAT REALLY IS THE SECRET...
(more to come. i'll have a review of this machine soon.)
(OH, AND YOU BETTER TRY TIGER'S BLOOD BEFORE YOU DOG IT LIKE THAT, YO!)
Thank you, Meg-a-cone.

Start of summer

Day 1 - What would be perfect on the first day of summer and a hot one at that??? You got it. It's snow cone time. What kind should I get, you ask? Uh, hello...Tiger's Blood, only the best flavor snow cone EVER!
Look, I've already got the Tiger's Blood high...

So in my tiger's blood stupor I decided to have a snow cone a day all summer long. It may not happen, but I'm sure gonna try. So far so good. 4 days. How many left? uh, you do the math.

So I'm going to JK's Snow Cone Stand on 121. I definitely give it 5 stars. I'll have to visit a few others to see how they match up. I may stray from Tiger's Blood, but we'll see. No guarantees.

Fact: The snow cone machine was invented in Dallas, TX in 1919. They were a big hit at the State Fair of Texas.

Danger: Watch out though. You could be seriously injured eating a snow cone.

Yeah, you might want to remove the spoon....unlike some people....
Now I will enjoy the rest of my snow cone.
